SuperFaB: a fabulous code for Spherical Fourier-Bessel decomposition

1 code implementation19 Feb 2021 Henry S. Grasshorn Gebhardt, Olivier Doré

The spherical Fourier-Bessel (SFB) decomposition is a natural choice for the radial/angular separation that allows extraction of cosmological information from large volume galaxy surveys, taking into account all wide-angle effects.

Gravitational Wave Detection with Photometric Surveys

1 code implementation5 Oct 2020 Yijun Wang, Kris Pardo, Tzu-Ching Chang, Olivier Doré

While the detection threshold assuming the currently expected performance proves too high for detecting individual GWs in light of the expected supermassive black hole binary population distribution, we show that binaries with chirp mass $M_c>10^{8. 3}~M_\odot$ out to 100 Mpc can be detected if the telescope is able to achieve an astrometric accuracy of 0. 11 mas.

Looking through the same lens: shear calibration for LSST, Euclid & WFIRST with stage 4 CMB lensing

2 code implementations6 Jul 2016 Emmanuel Schaan, Elisabeth Krause, Tim Eifler, Olivier Doré, Hironao Miyatake, Jason Rhodes, David N. Spergel

We constrain shear calibration biases while simultaneously varying cosmological parameters, galaxy biases and photometric redshift uncertainties.
