no code implementations24 May 2021 Artem Baklanov, Pranav Garimidi, Vasilis Gkatzelis, Daniel Schoepflin

We study the classic problem of fairly allocating a set of indivisible goods among a group of agents, and focus on the notion of approximate proportionality known as PROPm.

Deep learning for brake squeal: vibration detection, characterization and prediction

no code implementations2 Jan 2020 Merten Stender, Merten Tiedemann, David Spieler, Daniel Schoepflin, Norbert Hofffmann, Sebastian Oberst

It is found that this model can predict the occurrence and the onset of brake squeal with high accuracy and that it can identify the complicated patterns and temporal dependencies in the loading conditions that drive the dynamical structure into regimes of instability.
